That said, I just recently deposited to quicktender via my debit card.

I'm a little worried that'll come back to bite me but nothing i can do now. (I wasn't aware of the situation at that time).

Bisa from my canadian banks aren't being taken at party poker. Master Cards are generally only offered in canada by US banks, like capital one.

Whether it's smoke and mirrors, only time will tell. Don't look for Obama or anyone else to do anything on this until at least after the mid-term elections (November in US). It is a political hot potato, and no one will want to draw attention to themselves on reversing UIGEA, when a lot of Congressional seats are on the line.

In terms of international or not, from what I've been told, it is specific to the issuing bank of the MC and Visa Cards. If the issuing bank is implementing the gambling coding rejection, then it could effect you. There is really only one true way to find out - try using your card for a deposit. I know that Doyles Room and Cereus Network (AP and UB) have already pulled MC as a deposit method for ALL players. That might be a short-term blip though, until things get sorted out.
