For those who don't know what 'Rush' poker is, here is a brief description from FT:

Quote:
Warning: Rush Poker* is extremely fast paced – prepare yourself for the most intense poker action in the world!

Available exclusively at Full Tilt Poker, Rush Poker* is the ultimate high-speed poker experience.

This new poker format is designed to minimize your wait time between hands and keep you in the action. You’ll join a large player pool and face a different table of opponents every hand you play. When you fold your hand, you’ll be rushed to another table for a new hand right away.

To play even faster, use the Quick Fold button to move to a new table for the next hand immediately.
Anthony,

I haven't had a chance to try the games yet but my initial reaction is that I won't like them. I prefer to play slower and more relaxed poker. That said, some of my more experienced players may really like the action so I will be adding a promo for it on my sites.

With such a fast game, I would think how you played the game would change, no time to take notes on players, only playing the best starting hands. I would think it would loose a lot of the elememts that make poker - poker.

My sentiments exactly - I like to think before I play, make rational decisions based on the players at the table and the actions I have observed in previous hands. Bouncing all over like a yoyo from one table to another sounds like a mindless game, like all in or fold. I don't even like turbo tournies unless I'm only playing one table.

Sounds like a game of "ping pong" to me?

Would the action of moving from one table to another take time anyways? So exactly how much time would you be saving? How could they possible know where to send you to immediately start playing? I mean wouldn't you have to wait until the hand is done on the new table before you could start?>....just to confusing for me! lol
