It's cold in Denmark in September. I often wonder why they choose particular venues for particular times of year. All those London conferences in January for example. I'm a local, but I wouldn't choose to fly to England for the coldest month of the year in the world's 3rd or 4th most expensive city.
Who comes up with these ideas?

I would prefer a warmer climate too, Barcelona was very nice in September, aside from all the muggings, it was a wonderful city to hold the conference. We had a beach party during EiG last fall and I enjoyed wading in the Med. |

Well... they are in all ocean waters. Besides, I only waded, rolled my britches up to my knees, so did not go in too deep. Plus, there were some locals there in a bit deeper waters, so they would be the appetizer while I high tailed it to shore. I am such a "water dog" I would not be able to live with myself if I travelled 3k+ miles and did not dip my toes at the least. |
