I would like to hear from you, our members here who have been around, seen all and heard all, and what programs you think deserve to be listed as "non" reputable, dangerous, etc...
We read about a few every we go, but i am sure there must be some that have fallen through the cracks, that should also be mentioned when discussing programs that need to be avoided if not rogued. Thank you for your thoughts and input. Pat

maybe this should be a sticky because all too often I forget or get mixed up which programs to avoid and which are getting undeserved bad ...
many of them sound so much alike its easy to confuse them. my short list is red hot revenue grand prive vegas affiliates (I've heard they have already started sending out emails to webmasters who aren't "active" thus reducing their commissions).

I'm not sure we're the best place for this kind of thing. CasinoMeister, AffiliateGuardDog, GPWA - these are all better places to rogue casinos or affiliate programs.
I'm not saying that we should promote anyone and everyone and we should definitely call out the bad programs, but I think we need to define what this forum is for and, more critically, how we as an industry deal with dodgy programs. It doesn't help to divide the conversation about dodgy/potential rogue programs between several forums. We have kwBlue already on this forum who posts to direct these type of conversations to AffiliateGuardDog and I, for one, think this is a good thing. For serious affiliate problems, we need to have a single line of conversation at AGD. And Player problems, we should be using Casinomeister. By all means, start a thread, but the industry will be better off if there is a critical mass at one or other of those forums that is better placed to help. I think our forum should focus on a better class of affiliate/affiliate program conversations where we try to get more programs involved that don't have presence elsewhere.

Thank you Mark, point well taken.
I was not really trying to compete with either of those other great sites. They are the best at what they do. I just wanted to know what others thought were good and bad sites, so that i have a base to go by with which i can use to go to those sites you listed and find out the need info whether good or bad. But maybe I should change the title of this thread, to something that reflects your thoughts and mine better? Pat

this is a warm friendly community, the fighting and the non-sense in the other forums gets tiring after a while. I find some have difficult personalities. There seems to be some cliques to.
no one here of course, no dicks here either, figured I better say that before pat sends her cats to rub me out.

Oh man am I biting my tongue on not commenting on Pat's cat rubbing on things ... but suffice to say it would have broken any parole I was given by the law for my last *** offense
....... Mark makes an excellent point about direction. Originally it was about having some place to speak freely and I'd like to see that stay true which i don't see anything making that a problem ... after that ... lead on. The way I see it ... there's really only one way to go which is whatever direction the people that come here and post ... want to see it go. seriously ... I don't think its up to any one person(s) other than they can try to influence a direction. But in the end I think the forum will either take on a life of its own ... or die. And like with many living things the best that can be done is to try and not accidently kill it while its still in its infancy or perhaps better said ... getting its roots established. ... another example would be that of opening a bar. You can put up posters of a single's bar ... have a ladies night once a week etc. But if it turns out that the gay community take a a shining to the bar ... in the end its going to be a gay bar and there's not much the owner can do about it short of some really extreme stuff. lol. So please suggest, influence and/or lead the way folks. ....... I have one suggestion. Don't stop the light-heartedness. I'm just learning (now) the true depths of some of you folk's sense of humors and they are absolutely fantastic! I have got to see much more of that side of many of you since this forum and for that reason alone its been a huge success. I bet at least once a day I come across something that I'll think what one of you all would have said in that situation and makes me smile. That's rare to have some place like that.

Oh I forgot to add also:
Pat this still works. All the forums should have an area dedicated to the programs we (by that i mean the community at large ie GD's, GPWA GIA etc) are blacklisting so this isn't a wasted trip. I totally agree there should be one spot where everybody goes and GD's is fine for that ... but ya, all the forums should have a blacklisted area same as we should have them on our sites when it calls for it. I don't know if this can be split again but perhaps there should be a fork where you can go vent some steam on why you think a program should be blacklisted and then the other being dedicated to places which actually have been deemed to be blacklisted. that make any sense? Any time I start forking ... you can bet I'm likely going to ... fork it up.
