Default What Countries are Excluded?

After reading the terms at your casino, i decided to add banners to some of my sites, since the US is the only country you exclude in your terms. So after wasting an hour of time putting up banners on my canadian site, i find out that canada is also excluded.

I asked the casino live support what countries are excluded and received no answer. I asked if there was a list of excluded countries a on your site and was told "no, the list changes too often".

Well please explain how an affiliate finds out before wasting their time and traffic to a casino that won't accept my referrals? do i need to travel to countries around the world to test which are excluded?

please post a list here if not inside the virgin games site.

Excellent point.

To say the countries change too often to put up a list .... really instills a lot of confidence as both a potential affiliate, and certainly as a player.

I mean if you guys can't be sure who is in, and who is out, to the point of competently listing them, then who possibly could?

Thanks for the info, it looks like it would be easier to just list the countries that they accept LOL. That number of "countries" on that list rivals the united nations

Hi guys,

Sorry for late reply, just came across the post.

To answer your questions, a full list of excluded countries is available in section 18 of our affiliate terms and conditions: https://www.virgingames.com/affiliates/Terms.aspx

Situation with Canada is slightly different though.

Canada is on the Wagerworks (IGT owned) blacklist, not the Virgin Games blacklist.

As our historical exclusive game provider, Wagerworks used to provide all our casino games. However we have been serving games from other providers for more than 6 months now (namely Cryptologic, Fremantle, NextGen, Ash Gaming, Dynamite Idea, with big new suppliers coming soon ), and Canadian residents can play these games if they want to.

In a nutshell we do take bets from Canada, but canadian players will not be able to play Wagerworks games at Virgin Casino. That leaves them with a smaller selection of games, but this selection includes Spiderman, Fantastic Four, The Hulk progressive jackpots, King Kong, Call of Duty 4, the newly released Thor, Rubiks, etc...so all's not lost.

Our affiliate program's "marketing tools" clearly displays the software provider for each of the games we are serving, so affiliates targeting Canada can pick and choose the games they want to promote based on software providers.

I know the situation is not ideal, but there's not much we can do about it as in this case the Canada blacklist is enforced at software level.

Will speak to our call center team about this too, so they have a better idea what to answer when getting affiliate requests of this type.

Also guys remember you can contact me directly for affiliate related queries, either by email or PM. It will be faster, and - in this case - more accurate

Cheers,
